Fucus vesiculosus

BLADDERWRACK

Bladderwrack is a brown algae commonly found along the coasts of the North Atlantic Ocean and neighbouring seas. In the Baltic Sea, bladderwrack forms one of the most valuable habitats. It provides food, shelter, and breeding grounds for many marine animals, such as herring.

Through the Nature Concerthall, bladderwrack told the engaging story about the Baltic Sea environment, its natural riches and the threats to its ecosystem.
